Do I need to do the whole program?
We understand that you may already have a training routine in place and everyone starts the program at different fitness levels. Although it is not essential, we would highly recommend completing the whole program. The 14 weeks is expertly programmed to progressively prepare you physically, minimise your chance of injury and maximise your enjoyment while trekking.
Can I change an exercise if I need to?
Yes absolutely. Everyone has different injury or limitation requirements. Each exercise in your program will have up to 3 alternative options that you substitute during any workout. If you can’t find a suitable alternative then reach out to our expert team in the app for guidance.
I have a pre-existing injury, what should I do?
Managing pre-existing injuries is an important part of preparing for your trekking adventure. Just as important as the physical preparation. The strength & stability conditioning, as well as mobility routines, in your program are expertly designed to help assist with any pre-existing niggles or injuries. However seek advice through your local physiotherapist or practitioner, explain the adventure you are about to undertake and create a management plan with them.
What if I need to pause the program?
If you are away on holidays or busy with work, problems. Your 14-week preparation program is ‘On Demand’ meaning you can pause and start again whenever you need. We do however recommend not pausing your progress for any longer than 14 days / 2 weeks at any one time.
I have a question, who should I ask?
Our expert team are here to support you. You can ask questions in two ways.
